Seashells that once housed living creatures are recreated here in still living amber mined from the sea-- Like amber itself, seashells were one of the first objects used as human adornment. These are lovely ivory tones that instantly evoke happy memories of sand & sea any time of year.
Each scalloped amber shell is set on satin finished silver & housed snugly inside two bright, shiny sterling circles with open sides-- a delicate, dimensional design.
This lightly marbled mat color was once reserved for royalty & for objects of devotion. Closed construction, but open clamshell design (that is, solid silver backing, but open along the sides). Please expect minor variations as with real shells-- each is artisan crafted. Heirloom quality.
