Millions of years ago, the amber that became this beautiful Baltic amber pendant (and indeed, all of our amber) became trapped on the Samland Penninsula in Northern Europe when once a vast forest covered this Northern European territory.
Ancient Ways Amber Amulet No. 4 is a wonderful example of how less really can be more.
Amber the color of sand dunes, plucked from the sea, lightly polished & placed in openwork sterling silver. This simple design shows off the intricate thumbprint of Mother Nature. Smooth, glossy & warm to the touch, Amulet No. 4 shows lovely light buff & beige tones & some "blue mud". The reverse is slightly more intensely colored with the amber skin or cortex, also called amber bark, left intact. This will deeply please the right nature lover. Open construction, amber shows through the back.
A complete look, arrives strung on multi strand grey stainless steel with a sterling silver finish.
