Each is precisely cut, polished  then fitted together like interlocking pieces of a stained glass window. This amber glistens & sparkles, studded with countless glinting,  golden tinged fossil inclusions, lending this amber further depth & character. Exotic dark cognac shades with a reddish tinge, like mahogany. This spectacular creature is held by two matching marquise shaped amber accents, allowing the insect to float along & flow a bit with the wearer. Beautifully detailed down to tiny antennae & elegantly curved wingtips. Highly finished & refined piece-- unforgettable, actually. For most the wingtips will frame the hollow of the throat. One & three-quarters of an inch across by two inches high.
