Five bright, warm cognac colored amber cabochons cut into lightly faceted rectangles plus a round cognac amber centerpiece. Design features a simplified traditional interlocking Gaelic pattern, finished with a gleaming sterling silver circle to create a gracious, eye- & spirit-pleasing design. Lightly antiqued, texturized reverse. Open construction.

This symbol is also known as an Irish Cross, or a Cross of Iona (a small island off the coast of Scotland). Freestanding stone crosses of this type may still be found in areas once populated by Celtic tribes. Some believe the cross originated as a navigational tool used by ancient mariners.
