Details   Amber Stickpin--The wearing of stickpins started out as a practical matter-- to secure a gentleman's neckwear & sparie one's coat & jacket from stains.  Practical matters aside, stickpins were an essential part of menswear from the late 18th century until the beginning of World War I. And amber, of course, played a large role in the variety of stickpins available.  Amber, easily carved, was made into stickpins depicting the natural world--ferocious bears & wolves--perfect for the  sporting gentleman.  Today, a few exceptional men still collect stickpins for business wear & many women seek them out as well.  Our amber stickpin is beautiful, lightweight & elegant in its simple approach. We find it to be both a collector's item & a conversation piece.   Made entirely by hands that know & love amber by the famous House of Ambalt, Gdansk, Poland.  Measures 3 & 1/2 inches in length.
