In Polish mythology, these might be called the Wila (VEE-lah)- fairy-like female spirits who live in the wilds, or in clouds. These tiny sterling silver nymphs come bearing gifts & strongly prefer to reside in the lobes of the ear rather than inside a stuffy old jewelry box. Each silver faerie holds an amber ball, or round amber bead full of happiness.
Wonderful attention to detail, such as etched wings & long hair turned into the upward loop that secures the figure. Each faery has 2 arms, 2 legs and 2 wonderfully detailed wings—a whole three dimensional little figure, serving as a reminder that believing is receiving.
About three quarters of an inch in length. Stud style, in sterling silver. Made with care in Poland.
