Grand Butterfly Amber Necklace in Multi is handcrafted with six vivid amber cabochons. Colors include golden lemon, cognac, cherry & green, each entirely unique. Each element is expertly cut, polished then fitted together like interlocking pieces of a stained glass window. This amber glistens & sparkles, studded with glinting fossil inclusions, lending this amber further depth & character.
This spectacular creature is held by two complimentary marquise shaped amber accents in green & cognac colored amber, allowing the insect to float along & flow a bit with the wearer. Beautifully detailed down to tiny antennae & elegantly curved wingtips. Highly finished & refined piece-- unforgettable, actually. For most the wingtips will frame the hollow of the throat.
This amber butterfly is one & three-quarters of an inch across by two inches high. Held by two marquise shaped amber cabochons accents. 18" overall necklace length, but design "plunges" slightly deeper. Built on an extra thick sterling snake chain.
