Details   Raw Sugar Amber Rough Studs-- These melt in your mouth (not literally, please!) simple amber buttons are a treat for the eye & the spirit. The overall color tends to be warm & golden. Raw Sugar amber earrings are named for the visible amber cortex, the webby upper crust, which looks like rough granulated cane sugar, just starting to melt. This outer layer is known as "amber bark" or "amber skin." Usually this amber bark is removed & refined out of most Baltic amber that is turned into jewelry forms. Approx one half inch diameter, these utterly natural amber earrings are each unique, like fingerprints or snowflakes. They are about a quarter of an inch think, but will vary.
