Taurus Zodiac Amber Cameo Locket depicts a handsome bull radiating strength & determination with one hoof raised, about to take a step further into the star studded heavens. A thin, hinged sterling silver square with gently rounded corners. A rich mahogany shade of amber with glowing cherry undertones & gleaming ivory colored figure. The face is carved in relief "backwards," from the inside out using a traditional cameo technique called intaglio. Handmade, not laser etched, as is sadly becoming more common.
Taurus is an Earth element ruled by the planet Venus, associated with both spring & fertility. The Bull was a sun-god in many ancient cultures. In Heraldry, it is used to denote kingly power.
