Although we cannot know their exact original meaning, humans are irresistably drawn to Celtic knots. Humans are also attracted to if not actually bewitched by amber, so naturally we put them together. The type of Celtic knot seen here seems to be a hybrid, a cross between what is known as a Trinity, or Triqueta or Triquetra Knot, drawing on the power of three & an Archer's Knot, because it is shaped like a shield. Both are drawn using a single endless line & interlocking shapes.
But only our Trinity necklace features five radiant amber teardrops dripping from each of the pretty knots. You'll find a sequence of lemon, then cognac colored amber followed by a green amber center, then up the other side, creating a rainbow of favorite amber colors.
Dressy & festive, also a terrific way to show & really celebrate one's heritage, as there is immense crossover between the people of Poland & Ireland. |
